Lady Bird Day

Join us for Lady Bird Day, a celebration of our founder, Lady Bird Johnson, and her love for the natural world! From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., enjoy special activities for the whole family. Help spread native seedballs in our savanna meadow, join a guided birding walk, and grab a bite from La Fonda, La Chata or Texas Drip BBQ. Free Birding Walks Explore the gardens and look for local and migrating birds during a guided birding walk at 9 or 11 a.m. The walks are free with admission, but space is limited and advance registration is required.
