In this two-part series, Andrea DeLong-Amaya will guide you through the essentials of building a native plant garden. You’ll explore a wide range of Texas natives, learn their unique growing characteristics, and discover how to match them with your site’s conditions. By the end, you’ll be ready to select plants with confidence and create a garden that’s both beautiful and resilient. What You’ll Learn How to identify and understand native plants for Central Texas Unique growing needs and characteristics of selected species How to match plants with your site’s conditions Strategies for designing a yard with native diversity and style This class is designed for adults (ages 15+).
